Being someone who enjoys sporting a radiant tan throughout the year, I’ve experimented with numerous self-tanning products over time. I often receive inquiries about my preferred choices, so today, I’m going to share my top recommendations for self-tanning products!
Everything you need before, during & after self-tanning!
At the moment, I engage in tanning sessions once a week, occasionally applying a touch-up halfway through the week if necessary. After each session, I make sure to exfoliate thoroughly to begin with a fresh slate the following week.
For a gradual fade from wrist to fingers, I apply regular lotion on the inside of my wrist, palm, and fingertips, and on the back of my hand up to the knuckles. This prevents excessive tanner absorption on the hands. Then, I use a mitt to pat any remaining product from my wrist to the back of my hand and up to the knuckles, avoiding over-application. If there’s excess on fingers or nails, I simply remove it with a makeup wipe.
Not really, sometimes it can start to rub off around where my bra hits but I still apply self-tanner even if I have a workout the next day.
